LooHoo’s® Inc. was founded by Cindy Liu, a Chinese gal who grew up in America, with a different sense of "comfort food”. While she enjoys a good burger or mashed potatoes, Cindy’s comfort food is dumplings, noodles, and hearty soups - the stuff she grew up on. Cindy’s mom is a fantastic cook, and her dad was a chef who owned and operated a couple of restaurants, so needless to say, good ‘ole fashioned Asian food is deeply rooted in her upbringing.

Cindy’s love of food developed into a love of cooking and exploration of cultures through her taste buds as well as frequent flier miles. Over the years, she’s learned family recipes, developed her own, and enjoyed cooking as a passion, but never as a profession.

One faithful evening, Cindy was cooking dumplings for her friends. The host, who didn’t look up from his plate, said with a full mouth, “Wow, these are so good! You should package them and sell them!”…and so, the idea was planted.

Years of thinking, dreaming, and working in marketing… yada…yada…yada...she finally decided to just do it!

With the encouragement and support of her husband, family and friends, Cindy followed her heart. She quit her job, and decided to combine her passion for cooking, professional experience, entrepreneurial spirit, and go for it! She started her own company, named it after her childhood nickname, and thus…LooHoo’s® Inc. was born.

Before she started LooHoo’s™ Inc., Cindy enjoyed a successful career in Brand Management at several Fortune 500 companies, earned a BA from UC Riverside, and a MBA in International Business from Thunderbird.

LooHoo’s® Inc, is based in Ventura County, California and is committed to supporting the local economy, and engaging in sustainable and scalable business practices.
